Super-Easy, Slow-Cooker Pork Roast

This is one of the favorites for pork roast. It is nice to have slow cooker recipes for the days when life is too busy to cook. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Lay sliced onions on the bottom of the crockpot. Put pork roast on top.

Mix together:

  • Jar of apple jelly
  • 2 Tbsp spicy mustard (more if you like stronger flavor)
  • 1/2 cup water or chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Pour over roast and cook on low all day.

I often serve this with rice and sautéed green beans and onions, or a salad.

Huh. I put a pork shoulder roast in the crockpot when I left for work this morning. It will become pulled pork with BBQ sauce. Great minds and all that...
