By Grace I'm Saved

As the church celebrates Reformation Day, I remember once more this day as the anniversary of the day God saved me.  I thank Him for parents who brought me to the font as a baby for Him to wash me, forgive me, robe me, and for sustaining my faith these 39 years.

By grace!  On this I'll rest when dying;
In Jesus' promise I rejoice;
For though I know my heart's condition,
I also know my Savior's voice.
My heart is glad, all grief has flown
Since I am saved by grace alone.
(LSB 566 v.6)

HA! Amazing - not!

I was going to type in the hymn, "God's Own Child" and then something made me think that I did that already. Looking back at previous posts - yep I did, last year on this day I typed in that hymn. In rereading the comments - you wrote that yours was tomorrow. :-)
