USNA

Our third day of vacation in Washington D.C. wasn't spent in the city. Being Sunday, (May 10th, 2009) our first stop was Immanuel Lutheran Church in Alexandria, VA. It is a most blessed gift to be on vacation and still be fed with the pure Word of God and the body and blood of our Lord and Savior. We greeted Pr. Esget (a fellow seminary classmate of David's) for a short time afterwards and hoped to meet up with him later in the week, but alas schedules didn't allow. The Wolf's went with us to church (they normally attend here which is closer to their home) so that we could all go together to tour this in the afternoon:

It was a nice tour, and we enjoyed it. Jenn, being 8 months pregnant didn't want to do all the walking, so she sat and watched the ships on the bay. Here are some other pictures of the USNA. (After the tour we took the Wolf's out for a seafood dinner in Annapolis, a nice end to a nice day.)

Thanks for posting the oath! I'd not read it in so long, I'd forgotten it.

It was great seeing you, albeit briefly! Glad you had a nice trip.

I loved the pictures you referenced. Especially standing there with the rulebook in fron of them. Ethan tells me CAP is the same; even if you're not reading it, if it's not there, you're pushing!
