Originally we had planned to simply drive down for the conference and return Friday night once it was complete. But our good friends had a baby and asked us to be the sponsors. Baptism was planned for Sunday in Chicago. We were so close, and the people of David's congregation were gracious enough to allow him the Sunday off on short notice, so we went!
We were able to see our dear friends, worship with them, and praise our Heavenly Father that He made Joseph his own through the waters of Holy Baptism.
Aren't they a lovely family!

Ooooo - I love the little sailor suit on the youngest one. Cute!
Um. . . . . . I guess spending time with family doesn't rate as a good time? I mean I realize that I worked a lot of the time you were here but I know Christian had a blast (despite the fact that his teeth were hurting and he now needs a root canal but that is a different story). I know that I enjoyed the time we did spend together. . . . .
Yes EC - that sailor suit is adorable, and if you ever got to know the wearer, he would steal your heart too.
Ooooops Jenny! I was going to put in that we stayed with you and spent time with your family, but I was trying to cook supper, answer several different questions and never went back and reread what I wrote.
We had a fun time at your place even though you and Miguel had to do other things. But I got to sit around all day and read the last HP book. I haven't been lost in a book like that in ages, it felt so good to do nothing but read (okay and fix the meals).
They area lovely family!
Is that Amy? Her family is really growing! I really enjoyed her when you guys were in OH for FML a few years ago. ( where does the time go??)
Rebekah - I had a feeling you'd think that. ;-)
Yes Polly, it is Amy and I have yet to figure where the time goes. We simply need another FML retreat to ooh and ahh over everyone's kids growing like weeds. :-)
