It is one of my kids' favorites.
Try some yourself:
- 13 cups chicken broth, divided
- 1/4 cup dry vermouth
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 12 oz package of egg noodles
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 3/4 cup flour
- 2 cups diced, cooked chicken (I like to add more)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh, chopped parsley
- You could also add chopped celery and carrots
