....I should be doin' laundry, or dishes, or cleaning, or cooking, or sewing, or teaching the children or reading the Bible, or any number of other things. I always have these grand ideas and plans, yet somehow, someway, I always end up doing what I shouldn't.
Thanks Karen, the costumes look even better in person. Santa's elf (not me, an aunt btw) used colored stitching to do different patterns all over the outfits, like horses, axes, flowers, stars, etc. Plus around the hem of the girls' dresses she somehow punched out (for lack of a better word) designs in the material in geometric shapes. The pattern called for broadcloth, but she said that wouldn't hold up and therefore got what I think is a faux suede. The kids just love them.
